Brexit Media Talking Up Prospect of Protocol Being Scrapped

The Daily Express has been talking up the prospect of Liz Truss unilaterally scrapping the Northern Ireland Protocol as early as Monday. The Times has reported that the Attorney General has said the government can lawfully do this. But legal experts say otherwise, the EU has threatened a trade war, the US is about to send a special envoy to Northern Ireland and it may well be that a Tory rebellion would block plans for domestic legislation designed to renege on our brexit agreements.
