Never had I heard a lovesong sung
Til the fae prince whispered with a flowery tongue
And from his breath rose petals flew
and there in the glade he loved me too

By the rosey meadows where the satyrs sing
and the nymph girls danced crowned in daisy rings
I gave you my love under woodland green
and you were more beautiful than anyone i’d ever seen

Ohh my love! our secrets ever dwell
where singing streams whisper little spells
elf ears hear what others can’t listen
to sparkling treasures as they glisten
The flowers were fair, silver and white
and how delightfully they shimmered under morning lights
