How to Recall your Past Lives?
Practicing Dependent Origination is the foundation for attaining insight knowledges. Without understanding the dependent origination of all phenomena, one cannot fully understand the true causation of suffering, the understanding of which ultimately leads to the end of it.
To deeply understand the Buddha’s Second Noble Truth (The Causation of Suffering) and have unshakeable faith in it, we need to practise in order to understand Dependent Origination.
In this talk, Ven. Sayalay Dipankara explained
* the preparatory work needed to recall one’s past lives.
* two different ways to see one’s past lives.
* how to methodically and progressively recall our past existence accurately and in details.
* discover the causation of one’s rebirth.
* discover our natural lifespan at conception.
* the different signs experienced in the last thought processes at death.
* how these signs determine our next destination at rebirth.
• how the nature of kamma influences our aging experience and our states of mind as we age.
• discover the cause-and-effect relationships in one’s many past lives.
